Follow God — Go to Orphans in 2012

FOLLOW GOD — GO TO ORPHANS 2012
THE INVITATION OF ALMAZ CHURCH
TO JOIN ITS MINISTRY TO ORPHANS
Dear Friends
and Ministry Partners!
It is an honor to serve with you! We see the fruit of the minsitry to orphans and special need children we are doing together and our hearts overflow with joy! We want to continuo to serve God, to bring glory to Him and to share His Word with those who are deprived of love and care. We are grateful to you for taking part in this wonderful endevour and this is how we can make a difference this coming year:
The events of 2011
Together with our ministry partners we were able to serve for the glory of God:
  • We reached with the Gospel, with love and care more than 450 orphans and orphanage personnel in 4 orphanages.
  • Znamenka
We were able to bring a team of people to visit children in this orphanage. Some of the team members were special education teachers and shared their experience with the personnel. Also we were able to provide some necessary funds to buy food for the kids who lack decent food and nutrition. We want to be back with the children’s Bibles to give and with the love of Christ to share.
  • Snyatyn
God opened the doors into this orphanage in a miraculous way. Here we visited more than 140 disabled kids who barely survive. We were able to bring them some funds and several items of humanitarian help provided by American and Ukrainian Christians. It included clothing, soccer balls, CD discs, etc. We learned more about the needs of this orphanage and hope to go back and bring a team to visit these children just as God is calling us to do.You can see more here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwr4vgVNU2s
  • Romanov
This is another orphanage that we learned this year about. Here 150 disabled boys live. We were able to meet the director and the administration and build relationships with them hoping for the partnership. We were pleasantly surprised with the director’s efforts to improve the living conditions of the boys and improve the quality of their life. We hope to be back and bring therapists and teachers to do the training for the personnel. The most important thing we can do is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these souls.
  • Vorzel
This summer we had 2 international teams working in the orphanage in Vorzel. The teams completely remodeled one of the restrooms and built a playground.  They also worked with the children helping them to develop their social skills and just sharing love with them. The Ukrainian team keeps on serving helping with the cleaning and additional remodeling, bringing the light of the Gospel to these people.
  • We saw God opening the doors to 2 new orphanages.
  • We did complete remodeling of 2 orphanage facilities and built a playground. Before:
        After:
  • We gave more than 2.000 items of humanitarian aid for children and personnel in the orphanages.
  • We helped to adopt 3 children.
Last year 130 people from 4 different countries took part in the ministry to orphans.

The reminder of
why we serve the orphans
Because there are more than 100.000 orphans in Ukraine.Because many orphans are humiliated in the boarding schools. Their personality is neglected and their life is ruined.

Because they need a family where they will experience love of parents.

Because they need to know the Gospel, to accept it and to be saved from hell.

Because every second graduate of the boarding school either gets to a jail or gets involved in criminal activity or dies of AIDS or murder.Because they are people and Christ died for them too. We must do everything possible to help them gain salvation.
We remember who we were.God adopted us when we were orphans.Jesus promised:

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
(John.14:18)

Blessed the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing …,
just
as He chose us in Him … He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
(Eph.1:3-5)
There is a great song that tells about the miracle we have:
“Praise to the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ
Our God and our King, to Him we will sing
In His great mercy, He has given us life
Now we can be called the children of God”Listen to this song and think about its words:http://almazgo.com/news/children-of-god/
We obey His command. God commands to serve the orphans and we want to obey Him.Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, Defend the orphan,…
(Isa.1:17)

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of God and Father is this: to visit orphans …
(Jas.1:27)
